Who We Are?
Sangbed Chandannagar began on April 25, 2021, during the COVID-19 crisis, when urgent action was needed to support people with oxygen, medicine, food, and care. What began as an emergency response gradually grew into a wider commitment to community wellbeing.
Today, our work extends across education, healthcare, elder care, women and livelihood, social service, environment, community welfare, and collaboration-based community action. At the heart of this journey is a simple belief: meaningful change begins when people choose to stand beside one another with care and responsibility.

Get Involved is for people who want to give time, skills, ideas, energy, or presence. It should focus on participation, community belonging, and the many ways someone can stand beside Sangbed beyond financial support.
“Volunteer your time and energy.”
“Join our community network.”
“Partner as a group or institution.”
“Take part in events and drives.”
DONATE
Donate is for people who want to strengthen Sangbed’s work through financial or material support. It focuses on sustaining programmes, enabling continuity, and helping specific causes reach more people.
Support through donations helps us continue education, healthcare, elder care, social service, tree plantation, and community welfare with greater stability and reach.
“Your contribution helps turn care into continuity by supporting the resources, materials, and response that community work depends on.”
PARTNERS AND COLLABORATORS
Sangbed Chandannagar grows stronger through collaboration. Across education, healthcare, social service, environment, and community outreach, our work is enriched by institutions, professionals, volunteers, local groups, and well-wishers who contribute time, knowledge, resources, and encouragement.

“Every meaningful partnership helps us reach further, respond better, and serve with greater continuity.”
